Invitation: The Aero-Club de France and the Fédération Française d'Aéromodélisme are pleased to invite all National Aero-Clubs affiliated to the Federation Aeronautique Internationale to take part on the

2000 Control Line World Championships

Location:   The competition will be organised on the Control Line Stadium of Landres. This town is located very close to the borders of France, Luxembourg, Belgium.

Rules:   The World Championships will be managed in accordance with the valid F.A.I. Sporting Code.

Participation:   Each National Aero-Club is allowed to register three senior competitors (or teams F2C) and one junior competitor (or team F2C) for each class, one Team Manager and one Assistant Team Manager.

Entries:   The registration of entries will be done in two steps.
Preliminary entries with number of participants in each class have to be mailed or faxed or e-mailed to the Organising till March 1, 2000 dead line.

Final Entry Form with names of participants and payment must be mailed to the organising Committee till May 31, 2000 dead line.

F.A.I. Licence:   Each competitor must have valid F.A.I. Sporting Licence.

Languages:   The official languages will be English and French.

Entry Visas:   The participants from some countries will need the Entry Visa for France. Contact the French Embassy in these countries to obtain the necessary information to get them.

LODGING

HOTELS

The teams which want to lodge in hotels will have the choice in a list of pre-booked hotels located not more 30 minutes far from the circles. The prices of these hotels will be noticed in the Bulletin No1. The prices for 7 nights with breakfasts will be between 150 and 240 Euros for double and between 250 and 405 Euros for single.

The organisers will product personalised offer to all the teams as soon as we receive their preliminary registrations.

TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL

Very close to the circles, the LEP Jean Morette can purchase a little number of 4 beds and 6 beds dormitories.

The price for 7 nights with breakfasts is 110 Euros.

CAMPING

A camping site with toilets, showers and electricity will be settled near the circles . The prices for a week are:

  • 40 Euros the place without electricity
  • 50 Euros the place with electricity

FOOD

The breakfasts will be taken at the hotels or High School and are paid into the amount of lodging

The lunches ( cold meals ) and dinners ( hot meals ) will be served on the spot.

The cost for 6 lunches and 6 dinners is 95 Euros
The cost for 6 lunches is 50 Euros
The cost for 6 dinners is 60 Euros
The cost of the banquet is 35 Euros
