OVERVIEW:

The new TT program has lots of improvements, new functions and features.
To name the most important:

Improved menu handling and organization
Increased screen contrast and screen colour options
Category changeable inside the TT program
Competitor names supported
Review of older flights
Test menu
Help menu

- Believe it or not, but lots of bugs have been removed.
(And one or a few new have appeared, no doubt.)

The User Manual is expanded and improved.

The calibration program and its manual are now included in the package.


INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Create a new folder at the top level of your  home computer hard disk,
   named tt2:

     C:\tt2

2) Download the file tt070527.exe to your home computer and place it in
   this folder.

3) In an Explorer window, go to this folder and double click on the file
   tt070527. A total of 26 files will be created in the folder.

4) Open the manual ttman210.pdf by double-clicking in the file name or
   icon. You should have Adobe Reader installed.

5) Read this manual, make a printout, and follow the further instructions
   in it.

6) Run the TT program on your home computer according to the manual
   and try out its functions.

7) Copy the file tt070527.exe to a floppy disk to transfer it to your
   field computer. Create a folder on the main disk just as under 1)
   and 2). If you run MS-DOS, expand the file entering the file name
   as a command:

   C:\tt2>tt070527

8) Run the TT program under MS-DOS together with the sensor on the
   field computer to get practice.

9) Read the calibration manual ttcalman210.pdf.

10) Perform a calibration of the field computer according to this manual.

NOTE: The tt.exe and ttcal.exe files will not work on some very old
PC computers. (8086 CPU and/or no math coprocessor.)
Special versions are downloadable separately from the Transitrace
User web site: tt86.exe and ttcal86.exe 
Use them in place of the tt.exe and ttcal.exe files. You can simply
delete these and rename the 86 files.
